One of the most universal hats you can find, this one can take you from a hard day at the office and a power lunch with important clients to a hot dinner date with your favorite lady....Rarely have this hat been as finely woven or as impeccably styled as this one. Teardrop shaped pinched crown.
Brand new Montecristi Panama hat Fedora Plantation style. It's color is uniform and consist ivory-natural. It is light in weight, soft and pliable. This hat took a skilled hat weaver 4 weeks to complete! Â It is size: L Â 7 3/8Â (circumference measures 23 inches, crown height is approximately 4 inches in the center front and brim width 3
inches). The panama hat includes a black hatband and fine sweatband that allows adjusting to the head appropriately. The quality this hat is "Ultra-Montecristi" or Fino Fino.

The legendary "Panama" hat is made of Toquilla Palm (known in scientific jargon as Caloudovica palmata, grown in Ecuador). The workers also use their nails to extract the fibers from the leaves of dried palm trees. The Panama hat is woven by hand. A hat is woven by one person or standing up, leaning over his work (in Montecristi). When the base is ready, the hat is then handed over to someone else who will finish off the edges, still by hand, and finish it with a woven stitch called 'remate' point. The result is breathtaking: practical, comfortable, stylish, a work of
art, a link with the past, a living demonstration of caring craftsman-ship produced by true artisan.
