This a very unusual old copper and china plate The copper is in fact a tank to hold hot water beneath the plate to keep the food on the plate hot. Trade marked GARRISON leads me to think it could have been used by an army officer in the field, also useful on a picnic or at a shoot. Cannot find another like it. Marked solid copper so will clean up well and make a good talking point.
