1. How do I use the Farouk CHI Silk Infusion Complex?
   Before styling your hair, apply a small amount of the silk infusion into the palm.  Rub hands together and work the silk infusion evenly through your hair.  Style your hair with the ceramic hair iron.

2. Is this a CHI iron?
   This is not a Farouk CHI brand iron.  However, it is a Ceramic Hair Iron manufactured by SCP.


3. Is this BRAND new?
   Yes, the iron is brand new as shown in pictures.


4. Why are negative ions important when using the hair iron?
   Negative ions close the cuticle layer to create a smooth, silky hair surface that seals in the hair's natural moisture.  This provides ultimate shine, color, and moisture protection for the hair.  Negative ions also eliminate static electricity on the hair's surface so hair is left silky and frizz free.


5. Why is infrared important when using the hair iron?
   Far infrared heat penetrates the hair to heat it gently from within.  This creates a different type of heat that doesn't heat the air.  Instead, more heat is delivered directly to the hair shaft so hair is more resilient and can be worked quickly and easily.  Because less heat is delivered to the surface, hair is not damaged.  Infrared allows the hair's moisture to be preserved.  Thus, you get the silkiest, shiniest, and healthiest hair imaginable.


6. What type hair will this iron work on?
   The SCP iron will work on all kinds of hair.  See temperature to hair scale below:

• Lower settings: Less than  250° F -- Use on bleached, fragile, damaged, thin and/or very fine hair
• Medium settings: Between 250° F and 320° F -- Use on normal textured hair
• Higher settings: Higher than 320° F -- Use on ethnic, coarse, very thick, temperamental, or resilient hair.
